On October 18th 2008, Thisquietarmy played his first official one-off synth-set as Hi_My_Quiet_Tsar, which took place at Cagibi, in Montreal. To commemorate the event, TQA(R) impulsively released on the same day TQA009a, a 3"CDR limited to 24 numbered copies, with a choice of 4 different covers. The item was of course sold out (at 3$ a piece), and no other copies have been made since.

While we wait for some kind of clarity and in the spirit of the holidays, Thisquietarmy & TQA(R) have decided to offer a free MP3 download of this release, under Thisquietarmy's name. Three ambient synth-jams with a Moog MG-1 & pedals, recorded by Eric Quach in Sept. '08.

"Luftpost" is an exclusive European tour double 3" CD-R/DVD-R, hand-packaged in a black envelope designed by thisquietarmy. The CD-R contains 21 minutes of exclusive music (2 new tracks: "Luftpost" & "Ceremonies"), and the DVD-R contains a 30-minute audio live set recorded in Montreal, with the visuals projections that were used for that show. Also included is a set of 4 photographs by Meryem Yildiz (www.nitescence.net) made specifically for thisquietarmy.
